What is TCM （Traditional Chinese Medicine）？
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a broad range of medical practices sharing common theoretical concepts which have been developed in China as well as Asia and are based on a tradition of more than 2000 years, including various forms of natural herbs and herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion ,Cupping and massage therapy (tui-na). It has now become popular around the globe due to its efficacy and lack of side effects.
Acupuncture is a proffesional treatment the doctor insert a sterile, thin and special needles in special points along energy meridians which aims at controlling the flow of energy, or qi . Who is Walter Xinlong Song ?
Walter Song is a registered TCM practitioner and acupuncturist in CTCMA of BC,Canada with 39 years of clinical experience. He has practiced TCM and acupuncture in the Greater Vancouver District for 24 years. Due to his expertise, Walter Song was invited to the World Medical Conference in Victoria in 1997. His name is now in The Compendium of Modern Chinese Scientists and Innovators. Prior to opening his own clinic, Walter Song had practiced TCM and acupuncture in many major TCM centers & herbal stores such as National Herbs & Chinacan Supermarket in the Greater Vanouver. In 2007 he opened his Acupuncture and Herbs which is both a clinic and an herbal shop so he can help the community better.
